Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 May 2026

These are the terms that apply when you use Slice Studio. We've tried to keep them short and fair. By creating an account or using any of our tools, you agree to them.

If something is unclear, email hello@tryslicemedia.com.

Who you're agreeing with

Slice Studio is a product of ADIM LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16599511), with registered office at 121, 1 Didsbury Gate, Houseman Crescent, Manchester, M20 2JP, United Kingdom. When we say "we" or "us", that's who we mean. When we say "you", we mean the person or organisation using Slice Studio Studio.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 13 to use Slice Studio. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms on your behalf.
  • Your account is yours. Don't share your login with other people. Give them their own seat or guest invite instead.
  • Keep your password reasonable. If you suspect someone else is using your account, tell us.
  • You're responsible for the content you upload and the actions taken through your account.

What you can and can't do

We try to be permissive. You can use Slice Studio for any legal purpose: personal projects, client work, agency work, internal company work. You can resell the output (captioned videos, generated content, share pages) however you like.

A few things you can't do:

  • Upload content you don't have the rights to.
  • Use Slice Studio to harass, defame, threaten, or harm anyone.
  • Upload anything illegal under UK or EU law, including CSAM, content promoting violence, or content that violates someone else's IP.
  • Reverse-engineer the product to clone it, scrape it at scale, or resell our infrastructure as your own service.
  • Try to break the product, e.g. overload it deliberately, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, bypass paywalls.
  • Spam our share pages or guest portals.

If you do any of the above, we may suspend or close your account without notice.

Your content stays yours

You own everything you upload: audio, video, transcripts, images, text. We get a limited licence to process that content so the tools can do what you asked. That licence ends when you delete the content.

AI-generated outputs (captions, talking points, greetings, suggested social posts) belong to you. We make no claim on them. You're responsible for double-checking them before publishing. AI is wrong sometimes.

Payment

  • Some of our tools are free, some have paid plans. The current pricing is shown on the relevant product page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We don't offer refunds for partial periods, but if you have a reason and it's reasonable, email us.
  • If a payment fails, we'll retry for a few days. If it keeps failing, we'll downgrade you to the free tier rather than delete anything.
  • We may change pricing. If we do, we'll give existing subscribers at least 30 days notice and you can cancel before the new price kicks in.

Free tools and trials

Many of our small utilities (image converters, caption styler, timecode calculator, etc.) are free and have no account requirement. We may add limits or paywalls in future, but anything you make with the free version remains yours.

Free trials are exactly what they sound like: a chance to try the product without paying. We won't charge you until the trial ends, and we'll remind you before that happens.

Things we don't promise

We work hard to keep Slice Studio reliable, but we can't guarantee it'll be available 100% of the time, free of bugs, or compatible with every workflow. Slice Studio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond what UK and EU consumer law requires.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Slice Studio. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the incident, or £100, whichever is higher.

None of the above limits any rights you have under UK or EU consumer law that can't be excluded by contract.

When we can suspend or close your account

  • If you breach these terms or do something illegal.
  • If we're legally required to.
  • If your account has been inactive for 24 months and you don't respond to our reminder email.
  • If we shut Slice Studio down. In that case we'll give you at least 60 days notice and a way to export your content.

You can close your account at any time from settings, or by emailing us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll email account holders and update the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use Slice Studio after a change means you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, close your account before they take effect.

The legal bit

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer law gives you a different right.
  • If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to a successor company. You can't transfer your account without our written consent.
