I post clips too. I built this because captioning them was the part I kept putting off.
MP4 or MOV, up to ten minutes, filmed vertical, square or wide. Every word comes back with its own start and end, so captions land on the word rather than near it.
Start on a style, then change whatever is wrong. A word at a time if that is what it takes. Rewrite the lines the transcript got wrong, in place, on the video.

What it looks for
Ask a tool for clips that perform and it will hand you a provocative half-sentence with the reasoning cut off. That is what the instruction selects for. It reads well in a list and it misrepresents the person who said it.
This looks for a complete small story instead: it starts where the thought starts, carries the whole point, and ends where the thought ends. Something that makes sense to a person who has never heard the episode. There is no virality score here, because a clip that provokes and a clip that makes sense are not the same thing, and only one of them is worth your name.
What it turns down
If nothing in an episode stands on its own, it says so. An empty answer beats a list of fragments.
Checked before you see it
Ask a model to find clips and it will hand back times that land mid-word, sit on the wrong speaker, or run past the end of the episode. None of that is visible in a list of titles, which is where most tools stop.
Every suggestion here is rebuilt from the word timestamps first. What survives is shown with the corrections that were made to it. What does not survive is listed too, with the reason, because a tool that hides its misses is telling you it never misses.
What gets thrown out
Its own size, weight, font, colour or italic, without touching the rest of the line. Right-click the word where it sits on the video, not in a panel somewhere under it.
One line runs across the frame with a gap where you are. It splits the sentence near the middle, then walks the split back until the left half genuinely fits beside your head, so it reads as a sentence passing behind you.

TikTok, Reels and Shorts each cover part of your video with their own buttons and captions. Turn on the guide for wherever you are posting and it shades what will be covered. A wide video loses more of itself to the same overlay, and the guide grows to say so.
Nothing is rendered in your browser tab. It goes to a machine that does only this, so you can close the tab, shut the laptop and go out. An email arrives with the file when it is finished.
Speech recognition returns things nobody said. One real transcript came back holding the same four words twice on the same four timestamps. Exact repeats go, and words that arrive one millisecond long are given enough length to be seen, before any of it becomes a caption.
