What is different about the German chart

Germany is the most independent chart in this set by a wide margin: an average of only 12 shows per hundred are shared with the US, and in one genre it was a single show. The public broadcasters carry it, with ZDF holding 11 of TV & Film, ARD 11 of Fiction and tagesschau 8 of News on 10 September. German show names are also the longest of any store here at 29 characters on average, which makes the small sizes harder than they are anywhere else.
