A free plan exists indefinitely with 10% transaction fees, useful for testing without committing. The catch most calculators miss: Memberful requires Stripe for payment processing, which adds its own 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction on US domestic cards, so the effective rate at the paid tier lands around 7.8% plus $0.30 per sale.

Enterprise pricing exists for high-volume creators but isn't publicly tiered. The strongest case for Memberful is WordPress integration, the product was built around WordPress from day one and the gating, member management, and protected content features are genuinely solid.

There's also a private podcast feed feature that handles RSS-based delivery to subscriber's podcast apps. Test Mode lets you set everything up and verify the experience before charging anyone. The honest comparison against Supercast: at lower subscription prices ($3-$8/month), Supercast's flat $0.59 fee beats Memberful's percentage.

At higher prices ($15/month+), they're closer. Memberful's advantage is the broader scope, it handles courses, gated articles, community access, and video alongside podcasts, where Supercast is audio-only. If memberships are your whole business and you want one platform, Memberful is the right shape.
