Shure's free desktop mixer for managing up to five channels of MOTIV-series mics.
Shure MV7 owners
MOTIV Mix is Shure's answer to Wave Link and RØDE Connect — a free mixer for their MOTIV mic line. Unlocks the LED touch panel on the MV7+ and handles up to five channels. Locked to Shure hardware, so its usefulness depends entirely on which mics you already own.
MOTIV Mix is the desktop companion app for Shure's MOTIV microphone line — the MV7, MV7+, MV7i, MV6, MV88+, and MVX2U interface. It's the Shure equivalent of Wave Link and RØDE Connect, and the bargain is similar: free if you already own a MOTIV mic, useless if you don't. The headline feature for MV7+ and MV7i owners is unlocking the onboard DSP that lives in the microphone itself — Denoiser, Reverb, the customisable LED touch panel, and more detailed compressor and EQ settings that the standalone mic doesn't expose without software. There's also a Soundcheck feature that observes your speech volume and environment to recommend gain settings, which is a nice safety net for podcasters who don't trust their ears yet. Up to five channels means you can mix your mic, system audio, game audio, and a phone or browser input through one interface and route the result to your DAW or stream. Available in 14 languages with the latest version 1.7.1 shipped in February 2026. The limits show up in two places. Wave Link 3.0 works with any USB mic, while MOTIV Mix locks you into the Shure ecosystem. And as newer software it has fewer tutorials, plugins, and Stream Deck integrations than the more open competitors.
Browser-based studio that records each guest locally in 4K, then helps you edit.
Remote recording, AI editing, hosting and monetization stitched into one workflow.
