What Sports covers actually do

League and team colour first, then a cut-out photograph of the hosts, then a wordmark that is often a lockup rather than free type. Pardon My Take, The Fantasy Footballers, Double Coverage and New Heights are all built the same way. The network badge in the corner is close to universal here.

At 55 pixels

Cut-out heads at 55 pixels become skin-coloured blobs, and there are usually two or three of them. The colour field behind them is what makes the tile identifiable, so it is worth choosing a colour nobody else in your league has taken.
