Klap is quick to start: paste a YouTube link and it clips and posts. The reasons people look elsewhere show up in its Trustpilot reviews: billing after cancelling, and the per-clip limits.

- You want it to post for you and show analytics.
- Your source files run past 3 hours (Klap takes up to 4).

- You make more than 100 clips a month and do not want to pay $79 a month to get past that. Slice is $14.99 with no cap.
- You want to check and adjust every cut before export: trim, split, drop the middle, change who is on screen.
- You want a stream layout with the facecam on top and gameplay below.
- You want one flat price rather than paying by the clip.

Is Slice cheaper than Klap?
Month to month, yes: Slice is $14.99 with no clip limit, and Klap Basic is $29 for 100 clips. Billed yearly, Klap Basic is $14 a month, a little under Slice's $149 a year, but still capped at 100 clips. Prices checked 30 September 2026.
Can I paste a YouTube link into Slice?
No. Slice takes an uploaded file (MP4, MOV or WebM). Klap takes YouTube links.
Does Klap watermark free clips?
Klap's tool page says there is no watermark on its free plan, which covers one video. Slice has no free plan but a 3-day trial, and never watermarks.
What do people complain about with Klap?
In 11 Trustpilot 1-2 star reviews, six mention billing or being charged after cancelling, five say support did not answer, five could not find how to cancel, and three felt the "free trial" was misleading. Its overall Trustpilot score is 3.6 from 47 reviews.
